NukaNESIOT-From Sea to Shining Sea

Changed. if a war happened for 15 years, then they would migrate

OOC: Also, people were forced to vote in hopes of increasing support for independence but no one was forced to vote a certain way.

Humm ok VGL, while I'm fine with you playing, this is going to need some serious overhauls. In general, alot of what is written goes against the timeline that I put out in the first post, your base of operations is not within the territory you indicated on the map, and in general I will remind you that you are claiming so much territory that your Nationalist bonus is completely worthless.

Of particular note, I find the idea that 99% of the Mexican population was able to hold a secret referendum to be an interesting mental image. I would also indicate that the idea that the populations of Texas, California, Arizona, Colorado, Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida to go from <10% Mexican population 55%-85% Mexican to be almost impossible, unless the entire country of Mexico moved to these states (they did not) and the white populations moved elsewhere (they did not).

I am of course willing to continue working with your application, and see very little wrong with the actual gameplay aspect (except for base of operations not being in your indicated territory and the fact that you have too much land for a nationalist), but I cannot accept your backstory as is, so sorry :(

so where is Mexico city? also, that means in different areas, where they have a majority, they are around this much. I can lower it even more thought.I moved it to 46-69% |Mexicans

If there used to be a reason for Mexicans to stay in Louisiana, it's all gone now. Begone from our ancestral lands!

OK then now we have the "you killed our nationals" CB which is even worse.

There are no "Mexicans" in Georgia.

We have the "you intruded our lands, you filthy swines!" CB which is stronger than any other one, at least for Nationalists.
I'll accept 5%, but even they'll be persecuted.

Honestly, even that percentage is too high:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Histor...the_total_population_by_U.S._region_and_state

While we're not going exactly by OTL demographics, in the 1920's Arizona had the highest percentage of Mexicans at around 30%. If you consider the ideals of the people of this TL, we would probably see few Mexicans moving north due to racism and slavery (of blacks). New Mexico and Texas each have around 10%, but California has only 3%

Louisiana has .2% Georgia has 0%. Even if there were increased immigration, it would not amount to 10% of Georgia's or Louisiana's population without significant depopulation in Mexico.

I would recommend you just stick to claiming Mexico. Mexico City is further south.

the you killed our nationals is the strongest CB for a nationalist. Also, killing them would be genocide, so you just committed genocide.

Then can I just stick to New mexico, Arizona, Texas and California?

It's more reasonable sure. Your bonus will not be very significant due to the large amount of territory still, but it's not as bad as the original claim. I would further suggest losing the idea of Northern California and instead claim solely Southern California, if you intend to go this route.

All of the former Louisiana territory, or of the OTL Louisiana state?

I have to withdraw from this IOT due to exams and the time constraints that they bring with themselves. Sorry for the incovenience everyone.

Faction Name: Pacific Free Territory (Тихоокеанский Свободная территория - TST)
Faction Type: Leftist
Leader Name: Nestor Makhno
Base of Operations: Portland, Oregon

When the American worker arose in revolt in 1921 and threw off his and her chains, the socialists of Europe were electrified. Volunteer companies were quickly formed to provide the American proletariat their aid. One of the largest and most influential hailed from Russia - the Bakunin Legion (Бакунин Легион), led by the Ukrainian Nestor Makhno. When the Bakunin Legion arrived on the American West Coast in 1921 after a harrowing six-month-long journey, they intended to support the workers of Seattle, who had reportedly arisen in open revolt against the Provisional Government. But that is not how the situation went - for the Legion had recieved bad intelligence, and Seattle had long been pacified.

But with revolutionary fervor at a climax, the Bakunin Legion, in conjunction with sympathetic militias from outside the city, assaulted the city of Portland in August 1922. Portland, in a pleasant surprise to its citizens, abruptly found its liberation at hand, and the Provisional Government's forces were caught totally unaware, and were forced to retreat. On 29 Thermidor 130 (17 August 1922), they declared Portland a "free city," its economy seized and run by its workers, and the subsequent formation of the "Pacific Free Territory."

Having secured a perimeter around Portland, as far away as Aberdeen, Washington, and into northern California, Bakunin's Legion, bolstered with increasing numbers of local volunteers, prepares for 1923.
