I generally find great inspiration in movies and I was wondering what movies have you watched that made you think hey i wanna play civilizations now. For me it has been Alexander, Kingdom of heaven, Invictus (weird I know) 300, and Lord of the rings.

Also Bollywood achievement >3 city culture victory with india on diety is hard

The Patriot, gladiator, Troy, independence day, Apocalypto and maybe the pirates of Caribbean. These movies all remind me of civilization and look similar to the civilizations that are in here.

The new series 'Turn' give me some strategy game vibes, especially Civ and Total War: Empire.
