Splitting Cargo Amounts

Do you absolutely have to take ALL the possible cargo of one type? Say..if you have 100 lumber and just want to transfer 50 to another settlement...is that possible?

Yes. When you move the product using drag-and-drop to the wagon/boat, hold down the Shift key. It'll then prompt you for the amount you want to transfer.

Hold down shift while dragging to the cargo vessel (hold it down during the entire drag).

I think when you buy from europe you can only buy in 100's though (per the manual).

Not sure what the manual says but I definitely did it last night. Bought 50 tools as that is all I could afford.
