Do you want us to post play test reports in this thread?
If not, tell me where you want me to put them.
I am playing Lu Bu on Emperor level. Lu Bu's task is staying alive, isn't it?
It is interesting to have just one city with masses of enemy units just
sitting in front of it and waiting to attack. As I needed some time
to get acquainted to the scenario my first report is quite short.
Here is the first experience that I had with the scenario:
Jan. 195:
First thing I did was trading all techs I could get. Only one tech of the
first screen is left (Forging Techniques) which I started to research on
my own (btw, changing the tax rate doesn't affect research speed - it is
always 30 turns). Except for the Wei that I don't have any knowledge about
(because I can't spy on them) I am the most advanced civ in the game.
As I had the evil Wei sitting in front of me I tricked every civ into a war
with them. I saw Liu Bei and Yuan Shu fighting heavily against the,
during the next turns. However, it seems as if their armies were very
weak compared to the Wei. They didn't harm them much.
Btw, Yuan Shao seems to be the second bad guy in the game, because more and more
civs started fighting against him. As he attacked one of my locked allies
in Nov. 195 I am now at war with him, as well. Hope he will be too
distracted to care about me, since I have to deal with the Wei. I am not sure
though that I will have a chance to defeat them very long.
Nov. 195:
I didn't do anything until Nov. 195. Just built Marine Infantry every second
turn. As the first Wei Cavalry advanced into my territory - fighting Yuan
Shu units - I had to kick him out and thus started my first fight.
With this glorious victory I paused the game for now.
I will continue playing during the next days.
