Transporting across ocean

Eh...that's generally all you can use. :wallbash: :wallbash:

For the troops however, you can make use of airports. Either in a city or have a worker build an airport outside. It's a great war strategy to sneak a worker into enemy territory, capture a city then set up an airport. You can transport troops in fast as anything.

Just a small clarification ...
the AIRPORT is a city improvement, and it takes a fair number of shields to
construct. Or a fair amount of gold to rush-build it.

the AIRFIELD is a worker action, that takes place outside a city. It consumes
the worker (or slave), but is a *lot* cheaper and quicker to build.

Wack is talking about the airfield. Sneak a worker along with your SOD,
and have the worker build an airfield underneath the stack soon after
your invasion. The airports on your home continent can then airlift
tanks, infantry, cavalry, and most land units to your airfield.
Artillery, settlers and workers are notable exceptions. :(
