The way I see it, truth consists of the following:
Effort
Dispassionate Outlook
Being Open-minded
Over the last few weeks I have been researching September 11th, 2001.
First there was denial, then shock, then rationality.
I didn't want to believe what I was seeing from different sources. The truth has a funny consistency. There are no missing gaps. It is just a straight line from A to B that makes sense. What is not true is a curvy, zig-zagging line that connects points A to B while avoiding crucial points that "truth" hits.
The way I see it now, you have to be terribly hypnotized to not see the evidence in front of your eyes.
I just feel guilty that I had been duped to believing something so false for years.
Here is just one source:

Remember: Finding the truth depends on exerting effort, being unbiased, and having an open mind.
Granted, there are some crazy conspiracy theories. And I think that happens because people get too emotional and try to tag every negative aspect they can find to the government. That is why you really have to be unbiased and see things as they stand.
More solid crucial evidence:

The Japanese Prime Minister interrogated about the truth of 9/11. It was cast on the largest news station in Japan.
This is steadily getting international.
Ex Italian President says that it is common knowledge among European Intelligence Agencies.

So I am not asking you to believe the conspiracy theories. Look at facts.
The other day I got a 3+ hour National Geographic DVD about what really happened - just to have a balanced set of sources and to see how information is presented.
The video, if you do not watch carefully, literally skips huge chunks of info, and is at times inconsistent. The only way to miss it is if you are hypnotized under your own way of filtering information.
Everyone is entitled to their own opinions... not their own facts.
Remember: Truth = effort + unbiased + open-minded.
