from what i read in the preview and saw when he had the other screenshots up this is japan attacking geneva, and a greek unit just happened to be there.
I really don't like the hexes. It takes too much time to manuever, and you can't make straight coasts if you are making a map that has it, everything will be rounded and snakey. Plus, no Square maps to test out something, or to use the Wolrdbuilder (If there is going to be one.) And I greatly despise the 1 leader/Civ combo. It WILL get old meeting the same person over and over. This game NEEDS more civs and roughly 3-5 leaders per civs, which will even things up and make higher amount of different combinations.
give it a break guy, every civ game has started with just eighteen civs and civ4 was the only one to have more then one leader and those leaders weren't that different anyway.
Look at the minimap. It seems like all city states have the same color regarding borders. I see at least 10 city states on this map. It seems as if city states will be quite numerous.
