  • I almost never go that route if I'm going lib. It's almost always Nat or MT. 2 move troops make things so much quicker.

Also I'm pretty sure steel is like 1.5 x chemistry in beakers.
sometimes it can be interesting to lib chemistry since steel and chemistry are similar cost, you need engineering and gunpowder for chemistry
You layed out some pretty good strategies in this thread, post 7 : http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=421512 where you get a good date for libbing steel. I tried it and libbed steel in 1100AD on emperor, and went to war with 10 cannons and 10 jannisary's. It's so powerful, but maybe cannons are best for deity since one could have cuirassier musch earlier on emperor and then the war goes faster... However it's fascinating how you almost don't lose any units at all. Anyway -just a suggestion. :) Keep on truckin'.
Lib'bing steel is usually awkward for most games and kinda requires you to plan it way ahead of time. Off the top of my head I don't remember the best way to bulb to chemistry. I'll try to remember it for the next video, but normally I don't go that route.
Hey Chris, big fan of your videos. You've showcased a lot of good rushes and thought me a lot, still I never seem to find out how to lib steel. Is that something you would consider doing a video of? Doesn't have to be on deity, it's the how you do it I'm interested in. Cheers
Thank you for considering. I thought you were pissed...idk.
I don't mind if you erase (mine) those visitors messages if you need some neat place.
I have seen the comment in response to MrBugio (or Bugio on the forum) request and why not just playing according to the asked settings just like S&T subforum games posting posted? You weren't listed in the last HoF game, but I still remember you were second by a very few turns and without vassals abuse; it was impressive and people knows it.

Just like the deity quick speed, I think a huge marathon[.../s] (oopsie  my mistake with all these threads :mischief:) normal speed under raging barbs would be a nice challenge.
I use the paid version of fraps. Hypercam 2 is free and works if you set the desktop color depth to 16 bit I think. I also think you have to run civ 4 in windowed mode to use Hypercam 2, but I have no experience with this. I've only used Hypercam 2 for a couple of drawing vids.
Hey Chris, what software do you use to record your videos? I've been messing around with camsudio but every video I have tried to make either comes out garbled or it doesn't work at all.
I played a little of that Archredbeard, unfortunately a game like that would mostly consist of me cursing every 30 seconds and some very slow gameplay. Not really my idea of fun and the stress would take a few years off my life.
Your revenge on WvO was the bomb. I left a comment on YouTube but wanted to re-iterate that your vids are entertaining. People who own cats are cool. Side note - maybe you should mention your cat's name (in a vid) - at least in this vid he/she didn't climb all over the keyboard. :)
I have "liked" every video you have posted (on Youtube of course). I promise not to stalk, but I do think that you rock man! One thing though, you only have 2 friends - seriously?
