For some reason my save files that I try loading cause the game to crash. It's not every save file, but around 1200 or so on an epic speed game, using the 2nd largest map size (using the over-ride), when I go to load games I saved, it crashes. It does this on any computer that I have bat 2.1 on.

It's actually one of my favorite wonders. Extra population point in every city? I'm usually over 10 cities by the time it comes (I play on huge maps, or larger with the map generator size over-ride). Plus my GP farms always grow rapidly and end up being sickly so I like the health. PLUS GP...

Are you serious?? Almost every civ will use them, liberally in fact.

That's the hard part, he has 4 vassals, none of which are particularly powerful, but they're spread out (Huge, Terra map). All of them have access to oil, and all of them to aluminum.

I love using the planet generator found here, but after the latest patch I can't seem to get it working right. It still shows up from the list of custom map options, but all the options are stripped away, all I can do is select things like continent size, and temperature, and all the basic...

Does this thing just NOT work with the latest BAT mod?? It shows up on the list for custom game, but you can't change anything, all the options are gone. The only thing you can change is stuff like humidity and sea level.

wow.... I was locked in frequent border wars with Ragnar. Then one of my scouting flights saw a HUGE mass of troops in one of his cities; 56 modern armors, 50 gunships, 70 mech infantries. It accounted for about 1/2 of his army (I'm playing on a huge Terra map). That city got nuked...

I'm trying to show someone how to play Civ IV, but I can't find the tutorial for the life of me...did they get rid of it with the latest patch?? Can someone tell me how to get to it from the main menu, because it seems to have disappeared on me...

does any of this apply any more, since with the latest patch the computer won't trade you resources that you already have?

question: Didn't the planet generator used to have an option for flood plains appearing on non-desert tiles? I used to like using that sometimes and it appears to be gone now.

I've had these 3 installed, along with blue-marble, for a long time. I just decided to check for updates on all of them. What's the process for installing the latest version of all of them? Is there a certain order I must go in?
