I voted for Role-playing, Baldurs Gate is a great game. So is Red Alert, Age of Empires II, Delta Force, Civ III PTW, Warcraft, GTA2 pluss some others.

I usually play warlord, so I maybe don't much i should say, but if you got temples and chathedrals in every city, pluss Sistine Chapel, Bach's Chatedral and marketplacec with 6- 8 luxuries, you shouldn't have much of a problem, even on Emperor.
