Is there a way to open these files in the archive folder to see who was playing and what civ they had to reinvite them (those files are saved *after* one has played, therefore they cannot be opened in game since it's the turn of the following player already.)
Actually the nuke was probably killed and it's just a display artifact that is correctly cleaned between turns. I observed that for bombers on GMR: nuking right on a city seemed to live the 4 bombers alive whereas a carrier and a SAM inside the city were killed instantly, then the following...
If you like challenges and are the patient type (an average game must last something like 6months - if you're not noob and last till then end), play GMR: it's sequential, and Emperor&above players there know their stuff.
For theme4, be aware that if you don't have produced 750 culture by turn 14, you're dead. And you'd better have produced 1500 by turn 22, or you're dead as well...

Moreover, there is a forum for the League...
In my opinion, if matches are not imposed randomly, then some kind of weighting should be introduced depending on whether you beat someone well ahead of yourself or well below. Otherwise just challenge every newcomer to GMR, and systematically turn down invites by people you think will crush...
The hotfix seems to work. The 2 fails I encountered can be attributed to players leaving the game out of frustration and putting the files out of sync with GMR. In one case I watched the AI played my turn in front of me and everything went OK from then on. In the other case, it's not solved yet...
Same problem here with the "End turn" button in a saved hotseat game. But I played a new SP game without any problem. Maybe, despite what was promised, old saved games ARE broken by the patch.
Nope, you're not alone.
Either the game refuses to let me enter my turn and skips to next player login screen, or (after reverting file and rebooting PC) refuses to let me end that very turn, pressing "end turn" button having no effect (and therefore I cannot pass along the game any more).
