How much do you care about scenarios?

I loved the scenarios in V and I hated them in VI. You can tell they put a lot of effort into them in V. Scramble for Africa had it's own soundtrack and rules the Mongol one was pretty tight on time to conquer everyone. The Polish one in VI was just fighting barbs for 50 turns or however long it...

Best elements of Civ 6 that should be retained

Tech/Civic shuffle. That one tiny option increased the replay-ability for me by a lot and made end game more fun for me as well. You might get political philosophy 3 techs in or 9 techs in. You have to plan your strategy around it, not just do the same cookie cutter things every game.

Which Civ/leader best suits your playstyle?

What no one had mentioned a religious civ? I go for a religion even if I'm playing Korea. Anyways Ethiopia is imo the most OP civ there is. Their faith generation is so insane that I can buy all the settlers/workers I want, all the armies that I want, then all the great people I want once...

What Policy Cards you usually go for in your Games?

When I'm playing on a large highlands map I'll take survey. There is less water on those and thus more land so there is just more goody huts to find. Most tiles are hills so you really need your scouts to get the hills promotion so you can move up to 3 tiles and you can snag a lot of goody huts...

AI Behavior with Regards to Trade Routes

It's because most civs don't build harbors or commercial hubs anymore. I just did a large deity archipelago map and other than me the civs made 1 harbor. 1. The only AI I've found that consistently makes commercial hubs is Mansa Musa. It's barely worth having spies do anything other than guard...

Military Emergency After One Turn: A Recipe for Ragequits

Yes the AI will do this. What I don't like about it is they declare a surprise war against you and they now have 150 grievances against you. Meaning the world is mad at them for causing grievances to others. You beat them back and take 1 city. They still are in the wrong according to...

Does the AI declare war on you, and how?

I get declared on in almost every game and it's always a surprise war from the first Civ that meets me. The one exception is I denounced Canada one time because he had an unescorted settler and I wanted it. 5 turns later he has an army outside of my capital, declares a formal war, and proceeds...

what most annoys you about Civ 6?

I just came back to Civ6 after maybe a 2 year break and I was having a blast playing the base game + RF + GS. I decided to buy the season pass and that was a mistake. Heroes are fun, but the AI won't use their charges. SS is fun, but the AI doesn't play them right, especially voidslingers where...

[GS] Rate the civs in the hands of the AI - elimination thread

    Amanitore/Nubia [0] - (3 - 3) and let there be 3 John Curtin/Australia [17] (16+1) I've seen Kongo build spaceports 2 eras early, but Australia is the most consistent AI performer. Mvemba a Nzinga/Kongo [19] Seondeok/Korea [20]

[GS] Rate the civs in the hands of the AI - elimination thread

Amanitore/Nubia [24] Frederick/Germany [7] Genghis Khan/Mongolia [22] John Curtin/Australia [29] [28+1] In my games he is consistently the best AI in that he is always strong in science and culture. His only weakness is you can take him out early Montezuma/Aztec [10] Mvemba a Nzinga/Kongo [34]...

How to get Ai to wipe out civs and conquer the world?

Wait a very very long time. Have you ever watched any of the Drew battle royals on youtube? He puts all of the civs on 1 map and doesn't stop until someone conquers everything. The one I'm looking at right now ended on turn 4448 when everyone had death robots. It's the only way they can take...

Converting All Citizens in Large City

What if you starved the city so it lost 1 pop? Does an atheist die or does a turtle follower? When it grows another pop is it automatically atheist or does it start as a turtle? If it's the latter then just starve the non-believers.
