Would be a good idea if webmaster of this site got a beta disk, because we can expect lots and lots of info.
Some companies automatically give out beta to dedicated fansites which is a good idea, since its good info for public and rewards the webmaster for dedicating a site to the game.
No, no, no. I never do this! When AI demands something from me I take it as an insult and an attack on my pride. So whenever a civ demands something I always annihilate it to teach it a lesson!
Happens to me too sometimes, but mostly is ok. What is mildly annoying is when people complain how comp;s spearman killed your tanks, but when YOUR spearman wins, then suddenly everthing is cool :D
BTW, if a civ that you backstab hasn't made contact with another civ, I beleive your reputation is saved, because noone knows you did it. For example in my recent game I backstabbed the Americans and wiped them out, then I asked for right of passage from Joan of Arc and she agreed!
I gave her...
Goddamn it, you are a biggest whiner I have ever seen. Its obvious CivIII is WAY superior to CivII. Good graphics, LOTS of options and AWESOME diplomacy system. If you think its so bad then don't play it and stop flaming it with these pathetic useless polls.
Moron :midfinger
1. I backtsab them frequently. The only reason why any AI will sign a peace treaty with me is because I am much more powerful.
2. I declare war on them to capture their cities to expand my empire
3. I brutally raze all captured cities as a lesson to those who oppose me
:D
LOL, IMO one of the funnest things to do in CIVIII is backstabbing your allies. Out of nowhere you attack and wipe someone out :D
In my most recent game I arranged the right of passage with a civ and used it to bring my men close to all key cities. Then, BOOM! and that civ is crippled for...
Noway! Leaders should only be recieved through war. Its doesn't seem realistic otherwise. Why would leaders appear suddenlty if you were scientifically or culturally advanced?
I use leaders for armies. FOr example the most recent game an army saved my ass. I put an army of 3 veteran musketmen together and they held off a HUGE AI army of swordsmen, cavalry and archers!
About 95% of the time I'd say. There are 2 reasons why I wouldn't be at war with someone:
1. I want to move my armies as close to my enemy as possible, so when a war breaks out I will have 4-5 of their cities in 2-3 turns.
2. I exterminated all civs and have not made contact with more :D
