Worth buying if you meet or surpass recommended requirements. I would say at least a 6800 Geforce or 9000 or higher radeon for graphics. Firaxis messed up on this one.

We are talking about old video card technology here folks. I bought my 7500 about 2 years ago on the cheap (about $70) and I bought it cause of T&L. Even though its cheap it runs most of the new games even still. You could easily find a cheap card at a local store if your game doesnt' run...

Are you really that desperate to get it? I would wait. Play some Civ II and III to fill the time. Get some snacks to go with the game with the money not spent when it gets there. Then you can have a real celebration.
