Barbarians are smarter/stronger than in previous versions. Get 1-3 archers asap. Also tile development needs to be asap. Keep safe early game don't be too 'greedy'

Oh my god, never overclock please...Overclocking makes your CPU last 2 years...Instead of 20, Turn down settings, run in Direct 10x or higher. Update Graphics card, if you only have a CHIP graphic card, that is your problem. Since you did not post your specs no one can really help you.

This is so funny, every game I play there are wars everywhere. I play on Continents plus. One game Atilla was out of control - he had about 25 cities at turn 150

I would say no, it will help you feel out the idealogy tree faster which usually has huge boost to tourism. If you are Egypt this means you have like almost all of the world wonders? So you will mainly be benefiting, probably an extra 30 cpt :-)
