Nevermind. It's because I was trying to load a saved game that didn't start using info addict. It's interesting though, that not only does IA not load at all, but it cancels out every other mod; even ones that were present form the beginning of the game.
Hey Rob. Thanks for the BNW update. I've been waiting for a while. Unfortunately it's not working. I am playing on a mac and IA has always worked just by unzipping into my mods folder. When I load the game, IA shows in the mods screen, but not only is not in the actual game when I play but...
I'm confused. I'm playing on a Mac and I always used to copy the an entire folder (which contained subfolders and .xml and .lua files) for the mod into the MODS folder. But now there are no folders, just a .civ5mod file which does nothing when I dump it into the mods folder. When I go into...
There's a new mod in the workshop that puts values next to each diplomacy opinion in the leader diplomacy screen. I can't, however, find it here on the forums.
I'm playing on the Steam Mac OSX version of Civ V:BNW. While the "Diplomacy Values" mod is downloadable from the steam workshop...
I downloaded Diplomacy Values from the Direct Download link in the Steam workshop (couldn't find it here in civfanatics) and I installed the folder to Mods just as I do with any other mod. When running Civ 5, it shows up in the Mod list and I have it selected, but I don't see any diploacy...
This is PERFECT! Thank you. But I have to manually install my mods because I'm on a mac. Can you please direct me to where in the modding forums this mod has been posted? Thanks!
edit: never mind. I didn't realize that you could get the install folder directly from steam now. Got it here...
I'm surprised nobody has done this yet. Can someone either direct me to a thread where someone has interpreted the XML file, or at least tell me where in the code to find the values that need interpreting?
Is DOF the highest valued green? Are there any other greens that are equal in value to...
thanks Bio. Yeah I've already seen that one. I'm more interested in the breakdown of Leader opinions when you mouseover their demeanor in the diplomacy screen. e.g.- (green) we have made a declaration of friendship with each other, - (red) You were caught stealing from us.
Can someone confirm or deny this? Some sources specify that spy level only influences success of stealing/catching and speed of stealing, while others say that spy level also contributes to speed/success of rigging elections.
Sorry in advance. I know this has to be somewhere already and I will delete this after I get a response.
Can someone point me to a thread that breaks down the components that define another civ's attitude towards you when you mouseover it in their diplomacy screen? Not just how...
