You are correct. As long as you shorten the city names and keep under the max limit you'll be fine.

It has to do with the city names and a maximum amount of characters being reaching when all of the city names are counted. There can only be 2550 characters (including spaces) used for all city names or the game will crash. The archived thread for this is here...

I also had computer problems as well. Sure, it's ok to submit late.

Only unit by unit. Civ 2 does not have stacks like Civ 3 does.

When you play it right you can use the AI to help you discover techs you want while you're working on others. And, I can't think why anyone wouldn't think of saving and reloading as cheating.

What do you mean by hacked? Did you just forget your password?
