Civ 2 noob question: how to move a stack of units?

Hi, Civ2 veterans can you tell me is there any way to move the whole stack of units at once?
Or the only one way to move units is "unit by unit"

Only unit by unit. Civ 2 does not have stacks like Civ 3 does.

yes you can

make everything you want to move active in a city... now, hold the ctrl key and move the active unit with the keyboard number pad. you'll see a big stack of units moving.

also, you can mix units in the stack...

and - as the stack moves, it will 'pick up' and add any active units you move over. you can build a large army quickly.

wow... 1 by 1... that would take a long time.

There are no rally points either, but you can use "goto" (in some cases). Worse than no grouping, you cannot always directly access all the units in large stacks.
