7600 GT is fine on XP at least. Pretty hard to make a desktop PC not run it.

It really should just show a progress bar somewhere. A best practice for user interfaces... Oh, I should add: if nearly everyone thinks it's a bug on first glance, that pretty much makes it a bug. Or at least, there's something wrong with it.

Reloading is one thing, but I don't get the backlash against regen. If there are 6 other AI, at least one of them likely has a better start than you in any given game. Making sure you don't have the *worst* start of all the players is not a horrible sin. I'm happy to regen if I get all plains...

Glad to see Vranasm is getting the credit he deserves. His IC shadow was great too. I think I'll probably just shadow the rest. I get too sloppy the times I keep playing this far. Need to learn how to do it proper.

Shouldn't be too hard to get a city back from a single archer, if it's worth it to you. Unless it was razed. I'm assuming the city must have been small if you couldn't afford a pop to whip or send a defender along a well-built road. Or just fogbust a bit. But if the only options you see are to...

Came up a bit short I think. Not quite sure what part set you back the most though. 9 is not enough workers. Too much unimproved land. Thebes should be fully cottaged by now. Cities too small. Running too many merchants and not building Wealth anywhere. Running artists on the borders is...

Another protest vote for Darius. Immortals have the best animation :lol: But seriously, I think the specific trait polls were more interesting. This one should have allowed 2 or 3 choices so that it wasn't just HC.
