I'm not sure if this is the right place to post, but: it might be nice to add moving landmasses and natural disasters (earthquakes, floods, droughts, godzilla) to CivIV. Although I must admit that not much has changed from 4000BC until now regarding the places of continents..
A castle is no big deal to build, only twice as many hammers as walls.. I usually build when the city would otherwise idle.. I'm just wasteful like that, I also put 2 up-to-date defence units in every city :)

Hehe tried it and finished the oracle before researching code of laws.. That is not good I tell you :) I usually build the oracle to get metal casting..
In an effort to win a wonder race I whipped 2 of my population in my capital. The next turn I was told that I lost and that the shields were converted into cash.. That doesn't seem fair, give me back my population!! Does a player always lose ties for a wonder?
That would be useless because no city is using it aside from being a resource.
I'm not sure even that will work. I once had a resource on an island which I did use in the city with road and all, but it would not pop up as a resource... I have no savegame to prove it though..
