Well, FWIW disabling either of those two didn't solve the problem, so back to the old drawing board...

Found my way to this thread having the same issue... and I use TWO of the above mods: Better Report Screen Sukritract's Simple UI adjustments. Trying out disabling one or the other, to see if that helps. We may have a solution here.

Interesting. As an argument in GoG launcher, it only works WITHOUT the space. Tried it just now resurrecting my copy of BTS with Better BAT AI.

I am using Civ4 Complete for GoG and trying to modify flags. This used to be done with the help of a file \xml\Art\Civ4ArtDefines_Civilization.xml, but I no longer see that in my custom assets or mod files. Is it not in the same location as the original BTS?

Another update: Status Bar issue avoided by not using Hungary mod. Icon issue remains.

Nah, I ran into this before with RTP and it's because I like to use too many custom CIVs that don't always play well with other mods. It's not really an RTP issue itself, so I'm trying to work it out on my own.

I am using JFDLC, I am just interested in sometimes deactivating RTP but still using EC, as I'm having some issues with RTP.

A question for JFD: JFDLC seems to come with a version 5 of the Events Compendium. However, it is dependent on activating the RTP mod. Is there a v5 that is not dependent on RTP mod? I ask because I brought in EC v4 to use when I'm not activating RTP. I ran into an error where an event...
