Reminds me of when a while back I got a chest over barrow. The chest could explore the barrow which spawned a savant. The savant opened the chest which got me a tech and then I used the savant to get a bit more research. Made me smile a little inside.
Playing 0.23a. Workers seem quite buggy. Buttons for cottages, yurts or forts disappear when worker is moved to a tile where you could build one. Heavy lag when ever a worker is selected on a tile with no improvements. Buttons are unclickable, shortcuts work tho. etc...
Anyone getting heavy blights lately?
I got hit by blight. 39 :yuck: (when i noticed something was odd) in a city with 10 pop. Cities reduced to 1 soon after and stayed there for many many turns. As far as I could tell it was only Blight and not the pestilence thingie combo.
What do you need for mithril weapons for troops. I've researched mithril working. I have mithril mines. Constructed Caminus Aureus. Yet no mithrim weapons for anyone. What gives?
Are there any plans on fixing the AI workers? I loved playing FF, so much that I pretty much stopped playing vanilla, but right now it's just unplayable. The AI is just so gimped when it doesn't know how to build improvements. I can't believe this hasn't been fixed yet or am I missing something?
The guardsman should be able to attach itself to a unit and only defend that unit if it gets attacked. Guard can stand by a mages tent but if there are 20 other mages in the same camp he cant possibly stand guard in all of their tents.
I dont get why people react so strongly about this really. Its blood. Check under your skin and you'll find some. The most natural thing there is. If you get hurt, you bleed. Nice effect. I like it.
The Archos can't build any adeps at all. Can't build mage guilds so can't build adepts. Makes it difficult to upgrade raw mana nodes to something the haruspex can use. Im new the archos but seems a little harsh for the poor crawlers.
The AI doesnt seem to be too eager to chop down forests for improvements. They just spam lumbermills to all forest tiles making them fall waaaay back on techs. Elves are improving tiles normally.
I've noticed the same thing. Latest game I was running around with beastmasters and paladins and all I had to face was swordmen and archers. Monarch difficulty.
Might be because the AI doesnt seem to be improving his lands too much. Most of the capital cities I took were still swamped with...
