Oh yes Civ plays great on my iPad Pro from 2018. I mjust want all the balancing and feature patches that have come out but haven’t been updated to iPad yet. And it’s seeming like they might never. Did Civ not sell well on iOS?

Do you have a link for this Civ 5 graphic mod? I waay preferred the graphics in 5 and would love a mod that emulates that. I’m clueless about mods though. Scrolled through 3-4 forum pages looking and didn’t find it.

I’ve played every version of Civ since Civ 1 in 1993 on Mac so I sure hope they keep supporting it! Except I switched from Mac to iPad for gathering storm. It seems they’re not updating iOS anymore though, so perhaps I’ll try gathering storm on my 2017 iMac and see how it does.

wow that’s really disappointing. I switched from playing on Mac to iPad finding it convenient to play lying around on the couch. I actually thought they might abandon Mac altogether in favor of iOS. So strange not to be supporting iOS anymore.

I resumed playing some Civ (gathering storm) past couple weeks on iPad and realized it’s missing at least the Dec 2020 patch (maybe previous one or 2 also?), so I’m thinking about playing on my Mac instead (steam). What’s the latest patch on Mac version, and has the Mac gotten any later patches...

Oh hrmmph I don’t know what New Frontier Pass is. I saw a forum list of patches, any clue which is the last patch we got so I can figure out where patches left off for us iPad users?

I see references to a December patch that make it so you can tell AI to stop asking for things. I bought the Gathering Storm dlc finally last week (iPad version) and I don’t see an option to tell AI to stop asking. So is the patch not out yet for anyone? Or maybe just not out yet for iOS? Any ETA?

Well never mind, I think I figured it out - it may be because it’s a free to download demo and the actual purchases are “in-app purchases.”

I am trying to buy gift Civ 6 on iPad App Store to a friend, but the Gift option isn’t available. I checked iPhone just to see and it isn’t there either. I get the Gift option in App Store for other paid apps, but not for Civ 6. Any ideas or solutions?? (I already own it for myself)
