About turn 75-80 I get a event notice about a barbarian uprising and 6 archers spawn to rush my borders.
Problem is, Im playing on marathon and on noble. The attack is way too harsh.
Other notes:
War chariot event about turn 40-50.
No techs via goody huts
Beyond the sword patch 3.19...
Warlords installs perfectly.

Civilization 4 is up and running...
Still having problems.
Ran the direct x link you gave me with no luck. Also tried the directx setup that came with the disk. Worked just fine, but did not fix the problem. I made sure to restart after each try.
I had trouble finding the directories you mentioned, so I ran a search on...
I restored installshield files from the recycle bin.
I have Civilization 4 along with the bts expansion.
I know how to modify registry files and I am comfortable doing so.
Thanks!
Still having problems.

Still couldn't find Traitinos.xml. I ended up copying the one from the original and fixed it up, according to the bts schema. It's being read fine and I'm no longer having problems. Thanks for your help.
I cant find Traitinfos in Assets/XML/Civilizations. I do not have warlords installed, just Civ and the BTS expansion.
Are you saying that BTS relies on the original Civ file? If so, how do mods make use of it?
Do summoned units, like fireballs, have a effect on war weariness in your cities? It seems like when ever I go heavy mages, w.w. seems a bit harsher than usual.
Thanks
Workers usually only build forts on resources outside your cities' fat cross. You get the resource just the same and your units get a nice def bonus. If your determined, I beliveve worker functions are controlled by a dll.
