CivIV and OOTP11.

I haven't purchased CiV and I have been checking in here often to help me make a decision. I got into CivIII and played a lot, and played tons of CivIV and still do. I can't offer an opinion on how boring the latest version is or isn't. I think the poster who mentioned that people's tastes...

I think this is pretty much where I am at right now. Maybe by XMas of 2011 this will be a game worth buying. For now, there are just too many issues for this to be a "must have" for someone like me who has limited time to play and wants to make the best use of precious free time.

I can't be the only one reading these threads who hasn't yet purchased CiV. I played a bit of CivII, a lot of CivIII, and tons of CivIV (and still am). I am wondering what people on the fence are thinking about buying the latest rendition of CIV. I for one am taking a wait-and-see approach...

Good news for me - just bought a souped up pc which should handle this (I hope). Bad news for me - no religions (?) and I am not real impressed with the city shots as I like to be able to see the unique buildings when I zoom onto a city. But who knows what the final product will really look...

You can also pillage your own improvements by accident.:rolleyes:

At the bottom of the menu that allows me to Play a Game or Load a Game, I have the option to unload the mod. When I unload the mod I can not load a save from that particular game, of course. I would probably have to start a new game with Sitting Bull and see if his knights are red blobs, as...

Yes, it says BAT Mod 2.0 in the upper right corner. I am attempting to post a screenshot...the red blobs are a knight.

Ori, Would I be better off just unloading the mod or uninstalling the mod (is that even possible?). I guess I would then need to start a new game and see if the issue comes up, or would I be able to load an earlier save of the game where the problem first came up. I'm sure by now you have...

I have not tried it without the mod. On my former computer it worked fine with or without the mod, but not so much on my new machine. If it continues I will try it without the mod. Thanks.
