I want to create map and select starting points for certain civilizations. I've done so using the scenario tab in the world builder.
I don't need a mod or any detailed scenario to play out.

Thanks Hiram, I'll try the work around. The first thing I tried was closing all Steam and Civ related programs/processes through the task manager but even that didn't work.
But the other work-arounds are new to me. Here goes nothing...

Same issue here, I just posted about it. As long as I don't open World Builder I can play the game with no issues whatsoever. But as soon as I open the WB it causes it the error AND prevents me from playing the game. The only option has been a computer restart. And leaving World Builder alone...
