I like the brand names certain civilizations have that almost make me feel like I'm playing Pepsi vs Coca Cola. Yeah they're both sodas, but each has their own flavor.
I would recommend seeing if this could be done as a mod.
While I don't mind Steam, I do very much dislike DLC, especially when it's stuff that should have come with the original game to begin with. (e.g. 1kb downloads to let you use things that are already on the disc)
But this kind of BS has been going on for a while now, such as the only way to get...
From experience I've only used my Steam account on another computer once with a completely different IP, and it had no real problems to speak of. I think you should be fine activating it if you do activate it there. But yes, it does sound like a hassle if the internet connection isn't readily...
"I will never ever install it on an of my computers."
Sometimes it's best if you want people to agree to disagree, not to say things that would generally evoke a strong emotional reaction. I cringed a bit, to say the least.
*grumbles to self*
Steam has treated me well over the years, so I don't mind. If possible I would like less DRM, but ultimately the game is worth more than the opportunity to protest. Can't wait to see those achievements though.
Yet I would not say I have faith there are no unicorns. The point is that I acknowledge that unicorns have the possibility of existing, but I have seen no evidence to suggest they do. Whereas if I had faith that unicorns do not exist, I would suggest their existence is impossible.
Well I must...
I can only do English and Japanese though (いいね), so I have to make due with what I've got.
[Edit]
So I've simply revised my thinking here.
You were suggesting Atheism requires 'faith' that gods don't exist. I think it's safe to classify faith as an irrational belief...
I enjoy the thought that every time someone comes up with new ridiculous DRM, pirates give them a smack to the face by cracking said DRM almost immediately. Now companies like Ubisoft are even going so far as to make their games unplayable at points, and requiring online connections at all times...
Well to be honest I don't really have a problem with some overlap of Atheism and Agnosticism. My real point was to point out that Atheism is a lack of a belief, (whereas you stated it was a belief in a lack of a deity) and thus it's not necessary to be a believer or a follower and so forth. For...
I apologize, but I have understood Atheism as a position of a lack of belief in a deity. Whereas Agnosticism implies that such things are unknowable. They are different positions, of course.
I think every civilization should be able to create their own religion (perhaps when they enter the mysticism tech), and then from there they can choose to cultivate it. [Edit] If we're going a step further, on a different level every civilization should have its own culture that they can also...
