I play on a Mac and I was excited to finally be a day-one player of a Civ game, but I'm disappointed. It's too different - ages, civ switching, UI. I can't get into the game yet. I'll come back in a year or so after updates and the DLC gets worked out. After all, I paid a lot for the founders...

I’m on a Mac was pumped to get a day one release. However, the concerns raised here and the fact that Mac releases usually have a ton of issues caused me to cancel my founders day one order. I may repurchase if Faraxis or someone else provides clarity on the access and game effects of Denuvo.

I don't see any way to access the challenge via my launcher or the in-game main menu. Am I missing a setting or something else?

Thank you for the update. I've still held off purchasing but I'm getting a bit envious so I'm glad to hear NFP is working for you. I've finally won with every Civ so I do need the new ones :)

I still haven't purchased the NFP for a few reasons. One reason is for the issues described in this thread. I don't use mods, so I think I'm safe, but are any of you fellow Mac OS players experiencing other issues? Specifically, do you experience issues at start up or loading previous save files?

You are not imagining it - it takes about 5 seconds for the tip to pop.

Pretty unbelievable that MacOS users could purchase the NFP when it clearly doesn't work. I had it added to the cart, about to buy, when I noticed it was Windows only. But, yeah I'm blown away at the lack of information. Really bizarre. I can't see what's in it for any of the involved companies...
