I had never got a settler out of a hut before this GoTM (using 1.29) and it looks like a lot of people got a settler. Any general observations by anyone? Is it just the low difficulty?

I have buitl only a few cruise missiles and never used them on ships. They have never appeared to do anything to land units or cities. They do look nice though.
