Need help with translations! (French, German, Italian, Spanish)

How much text are we talking here? Depending on how much you have, I might be able to do some Spanish for you(given time constraints and all). PM me if you'd like.

    Campaign Idea

Since you're not going do it for a while, I would recommend you spend your free time researching the era. Then, you could outline, in a post or word document, all of the aspects of your campaign. It would help to flesh out the direction and elements of your work. And good luck. As Frekk...

MSMD: How to Create a Mod (video demo)

Wow. This is really a great resource. I hope you keep more segments coming. I must agree, however, that it would be nice if the video was changed to a less memory intensive format. Previous posts have already put forth some feasible ideas. Keep up the good work, and thanks.

    New civilisation game type concept

Could you explain this a bit more? From what you said, it appears awfully similiar to the Advanced start in BTS, and plays on the same theme of diversity as Dale's Civ Customizer.

    Civ Feasibility Question

Question: Generally, what is considered the maximum number of civs before the game starts to bog down on BTS? And then throw in a very large map of the Earth. For those with 1-3 GB of RAM (rather standard), would a game be playable at 25, 45, or even 50 civilizations? Thanks

    Civ Customiser

Of course. It's bundled in with your Combat Mod - how silly of me to forget! That would explain why. Thanks for the help. From what Dale said, I think you would need to include the mod comp to the scenario, so that it knows what files to use, rather than the standard game.

    Civ Customiser

I heard this mentioned in Apolyton's Modcast. Really sounds interesting. They talk about the replayability of Civ4 with its multiple leaders, but this takes it to a whole new level. Because this was posted just over 7 months ago, I assume it's just about complete. Is it fully available, and...

    The Industrial Revolution!

Well, the first industrial revolution happened in Britain, starting in the late 1700's. It happened because the agriculutral revolution condensed farming land into the hands of the aristocracy. This allowed them to increase their efficiency and use less workers to achieve the same amoutn of...

    The Industrial Revolution!

It depends on when and where this industrial revolution takes place. There was the industrial revolution in Britain in the early 19th century, as well as two industrial revolutions later that century in America. These are the three you're probably considering. In Britain, for example, you'll...

The Wheel of Time Mod, second chance.

I applaud your efforts to take on this rather large task. It would be quite rewarding to see this come to fruitation. However, I must agree with alerum68. Most of WoT's features are simply too complex for the editor that comes with C3C. You guys spent a few pages on the previous thread...

    A few questions for mod

Thanks for asking those questions kt atis, as I heard those questions being tossed around earlier without getting any answers. I do have an additional question, though. Is the number of civs limited to 18 in a single game in BTS?

Build a Better Rome: A New Rise of Rome Scenario

Personally, I think that it would be better to do a Roman Republic mod, from 500 - 30 BC. Extending the scenario out to 300 AD would exponentially increase the amount of work needed. You might want to look into adding Numidia as a civilization, as it prevents Carthage from amassing a huge...

    Graphics Modification Requests Thread

Now this may be a tad ambitious, but nice to have. When I first played CivIV, what I noticed was that the interface had changed to an interface that you could find on an RTS game. Perhaps it would be possible to change this interface to look more like Civ3? It would be akin to having "themes"...

    Roman Principes

Great conversion! This is a nice unit, that will replace another legionary from CFC in the Rise of Rome conquest. Like Tahlum said, "keep them coming!"
