I think that what people need to understand is that there is no 1 clear solution to the MANY problems this game has. I had an FX5200, swapped it for an ATI 9800, and now the game runs perfect. TONS of poeple with 9800's can not get the game to run... THAT is what is killing this game...

I had an FX5200, it ran like asspoop SO i switched to a Radeon 9800 pro. And it now runs fine. Also, the only other thing I changed was going from XP SP1 to SP2 GL

I was using one. Ran like asspoop.. It was choppy to no end, and the sound cut out in th emovies.... I was on a 2500xp, FX5200, 512mb ram, XP SP1 I pulled the FX5200 and put in a Radeon 9800 pro, upgraded to SP2 Runs perfect now. 1024x768 high res, without any stuttering or lag. GL...

I'm certain there will be a patch that is being worked on. I dont think their product will do to well if anyone who wants to buy it would take such a gamble

I know that for Sid Myers Pirates, also by Firaxis games, probably teh same engine, my GF's computer would crash suddenly, and that was due to the lack of T&L by the 8 series Intel Chipset for her video card I think this will be no different.
