Patch?

I know there are a few beta testers on the boards, and maybe even some personell from 2kGames or Firaxis that browse the boards.

Civ 4 seems to run fairly well on my machine, so this isn't a "I want a patch" rant.... but I am just curious if anyone here knows anything on whether a patch is currently being developed, and what the turnaround time for release would be?

Can anyone officially or un-officially confirm that a patch is being worked at?

I'm certain there will be a patch that is being worked on.

I dont think their product will do to well if anyone who wants to buy it would take such a gamble

I think they already have been working on the patch even before the release. It is obvious that the game was released to early and I guess they knew about some of the bugs inside, but there was not enough time to eliminate them. I really hope that the patch will come till mid of November.
