I switched compabilitity mode to Windows 7 and bribed Wang Kon to declare war and...it worked!

It should be at v1066; I updated it yesterday, recalculated, and saved over the last version. But, still the same thing.
Not sure why it says v1065. Could it be an issue with my computer? It's a Dell laptop with Windows 10.

It seems that my game has an issue. The game will crash at this turn, without any explanation.
I have an idea of what's going on. Looks like there's a big war eminent, as I look into the log. All I want is to continue my game. If anyone can help me, I would be eternally grateful.

I like the barbarians. They're a reminder that I need to maintain a strong military, which pays off in the end. But, I agree, building the great wall and watching barbarians surround your borders is fun.
Think of it this way: If you were to launch a Guided Missile, would you rather hit a small target that's numerous and easy to replace, or a large expensive target that takes time to replace?
How funny. In my last game he was a pushover I always had to revive (because he was an ally close to my enemies). I kept making him go to war against Monty and he never captured anything. In a game before that, he was dominant, and I always had to kiss his feet so that he wouldn't take over...
