Usual reminders to not post stuff after 1AD, or locations of hidden resources belong horses/iron. Tell us about your early choices... explore before settling? Where did you settle and why? And did you map out where you next cities will be? Anything strike you as a challenge, expected or...

All I can say in fairness to our players who just dig in without reading through all the prelim... mess around and find out. :satan:

Nice @Smiregal that you report, and that you played on. I have great respect for people who, like me, play it out despite missed goals. Very useful for those of us trying to learn new methods.

Yeah, the garble was due to the file used to create a shmtl file for game release, and I was too pressed for time to clean it up. Also, the starting save got lost somehow, but I hope it is downloadable now.
