I am new to this mod. a few frustrations. firstly, Ic an only load the mod with the one map supplied with the mod. is this normal? It crashes every time if I load without that map ie I load the mod and select options from there, but it crashed before the first screen shows up with a settler or...

I must be a very poor player compared to what you guys claim. I cant succeed even at warlord level. I play tokugawa mostly, and custom game with 3-4 opponents and no barbarians, as I cant stand them. It seems to take me ages to get samurai, by which time I am miles behind in the score count and...

I get barbarians from the get go. i try turning them off in the set up and get no animals but just human barbarians - a different sort of animal...I'd like to turn them off completely as an option, but don't seem able to do that ie, the button to say no barbarians in the game set up , doesn't...

Tried out the mod. Installed fine, but i cannot seem to stop getting damn barbarians, despite choosing no barbarians in the set up. I HATE barbarians, they are just a confounded nuisance in my view. Why cant I stop them appearing in my games! don't appear in un-modded games when i don't select...

I cant get the alt click option to work so as to repeatedly build the same unit. I half figured out rally points, which dont work as well as civ 3, but I have to keep laboriously choosing the same unit to build each time - annoying if you are trying to build up an invasion force or similar...

I cant seem to set rally points. I select a city, right click an empty tile, get a yellow circle on it, but then nothing moves to that tile. very annoying! how I do fix it? also, how I set a city to continue to build a unit? I thought I clicked 'alt' and then the unit, but that doesn't do it. so...

How do i pick the number of civs I wish to play against and who they are? there does not seem to be a facility to choose this as there was in civ 3:confused:

In prvvious civs therew was an option to select how many players there were, for single human player. There does not seem to be an option to do this in civ 4. so can I select who and how many ai opponents I have?:confused:
