Is there any information available on how many cities flip as soon as you enter a dark age? I think I remember that it has something to do with the lowest loyality pressure towards your civ, but that does not say anything about the number...
I'm also guessing they'll reveal more of the patch... could be that they have more ideas for playing tall than just (great first step btw) better specialists.
My secret hope would be a hint at a third expansion though... But that's more of a November thing...
Or this image (Golden Gate Screenshot)
the water line at the bottom is straight, not curved as you would expect from a curved dam.
Sorry for the double post. Couldn't insert the image otherwise without uploading it somewhere...
I thinks the "wrong" curvature might be an optical illusion. The dam seems to be rather straight, but higher in the middle. Look at this image
It is from the canal screenshot. Seems straight to me.
In my opinion the only thing that could "save" tall empires is that all district buildings depend on the size of the city. So for a library, you need 5 pop, university 10 pop, research lab 15 pop or something similar. That could also be the case for all other buildings (an opera house would...

I preordered without DLCs and I'm...
So my citizens have an effect on the loyality of a close "enemy" city. But do the citizens of my cities (in range) count as a whole or is it the actual location of the citizens (where they "work") that matters? So does moving the citizens closer to the border mean more pressure?
And when does...
Hm I guess you could look at it that way as well... I just thought that since almost every small city can at least chop a CD, the population-science would favor tall cities
Does anyone else have this problem? I can use the left mouse button (found city, auto explore etc) but can't use the right mouse button to move or attack (i assume - i have to quit after a few turns because of that behavior)
