    New alert function? Not working?

The function is there, but hibernating. You just have to wait for the spring patch.

Requests for new components (and features)

Having played 4 or 5 Civ5 games, i'm back to Civ4. One of the (many) reasons is your great work. Being used to BUG&BULL, i cant stand the lack of information in the interface of Civ5. So the question is, are you going to further devolop it? If yes, i have two small requests: - Clickable...

    Most frustrating thing ever.

Hi. After my civ5 depression I decided it was time to try the total war series, so i picked the Rome gold bundle. Ive been enjoying the game, although i think it is hasnt got the replayability of Civ games. Campaign is not at the same level of Civ, and the battles are starting to get repetitive...

What's the big deal about Hexagonal map grids?

Well each one has its disaventages. In hexagonal distances are equal and correct, but you have only 6 straight directions, so either N-S or E-W is going to be a zig-zag. Why doesnt anyone like the totalwar aproach, a gridless map, with zones of control?. Of course for the economic layer, the...

    +1 in resources pop-up

This is the hover im asking about: As you can hardly see, 20 is the hammers of my worked tiles (below the hover) and 20 is the base producion.

    +1 in resources pop-up

Hi, i think this is bug/bull related, as i dont remember these +1F/P/C before installing it, but i might be wrong. Im talking about the hover popups in top-right of city screen. They show +1F for health resources, +1H for strategic resources, and +1C for luxury resources, but they dont add to...

    Civ V Demo Competition

Nice idea, im in too! but maybe we should use quick instead of normal velocity... the differences with 100 turns in normal are going to be minimal.

    PDF: Civ4 BtS reference sheet

Anyone knows if he lives in the same address? Maybe we could send him 50 postcards or so... you know, like a 'we still love you' message. I dont mind the update very much, there arent significant changes in latests patches...

    Baba Yetu must live on.

i really like Baba yetu (and the full album). But by choosing Baba Yetu again we would lose the oportunity of hearing a new song, maybe even better, hopefully from Tin. But there could be an option for choosing the theme (Civ5 - Civ4updated) What i would like not to change is the world view...

    Civilization V Announced!

Really great news. The hexagonal world is fine, but i would have choosen a smaller grid, with one unit per tile. Being able to group units, so you could have a line of units moving together, like a front. And ranged units behind. With this grid size, a 2 tiles ranged archer seems unrealistic...

Christopher Tin's debut album Calling All Dawns

Its great that you can read this topic, since your music (especially this CD) fits us Civ players very well. I just want to say that the circle concept is just brilliant. Its like travelling around the world, and finally returning to the place you started. I wonder if there are also common...
