just built an airport on my continent and an airport on the enemy's continent. however, it seems like i can only transport one unit per turn...?
what are the rules for transporting units with your airports??
lol...no i did mean 6. actually it might have been more like 7 or 8, i can't remember exactly. HOWEVER, with that force (and a handful of archers) i wiped out the ottomans (about 6 cities) and put a huge dent in the scandinavians. all the while building more units.
and like the other guy...
well, i upped it to Regent (the level after Warlord i believe?) and used a larger map. i am on my way to conquering my continent with the Celts...and then see what's what after that.
oh...when does the ability to upgrade to pikemen and midevil infantry occur?
gotta go with the Celts...just played them for the first time. i focused on that gallic swordsman right away and amassed about 6 of them...was able to sweep through two other Civs with that force.
what a great UU.
no, i didnt' reduce the number of AI's...the only thing i chose was my Civ.
(i am correct in assuming that the larger the map, the harder the game, right?)
yeah i think i am going to jump up in level...perhaps reduce the map size b/c yeah the games take awhile sometimes...
i guess my main question is this: is it a cop-out to win on standard map on warlord?
i don't want to advance until i can righly claim that i beat the level you know?
just won my first warlord game on standard map, with the Celts...what a great Civ.
anyway...was curious if you all think the next best step would be to advance a level or to play warlord again but on a bigger map?
thanks...:king:
i wish i could (right now)...will have to wait until at least tonight though, since i am work.
it's a great game (in my opinion) - my first attempt at warlord and i am about to take ownership of my continent.
i have since started another game, but if someone could figure out how to make this...
i started the game in 1.29, then loaded C3C last night. when it goes to load up the game, it gets to about 22% and then fails...i forget the error message it showed...
okay...besides trading luxuries (which i have precious few of at my point in the game), how can i increase my gold?
i am building alot of stuff (mostly units) and in about 10 turns or so, it looks like i am gonna run my treasury dry and start losing things.
