They all have absolute rubbish outdated low-budget video cards and are hugely overpriced! I would strongly advice you stay clear of those crappy packets. You can get a good system that actually runs games for that price.
Actually I don't think I've ever played the previous Civs anymore once a new one is released. That goes for Civ5 & 4 too, although I might fire up BTS if I'm away and limited to my laptop as V is a bit too much for it to handle.

Decided not to take action against Rome and to capitalize on tech instead. An idea of ill-prepared invasion on another continent against an opponent double my size with Great Wall, Himeji, full Honor etc. and tech parity just didn't seem like a fun concept.
My army is 3 riflemen, 5 musketeers, 1 pike, 2 cannons, 1 trebuchet and 1 catapult. Also 2 GG's. Navy consists of 4 frigates and 2 caravels. Most promoted are only 3 promotions. I have 2 cities that can churn out 30 xp units. Keep in mind that with mercantilism + BB it's almost as cheap to buy...

I absolutely agree, fighters should definitely be able to do a recon mission. If not, there should atleast be a recon plane or something that could.
Also miss bombing infra/resources, but that might just be too overpowered now since you can only use 1 worker to repair.
