Is there a way to speed up the waiting time when your turn is over? Even on a brand new map (Large - speed = normal) it takes approx 45sec - 1.25 min to cycle through so I can move 1 space. In civ3 it did not bog down until there where a gazillion moves by all the civs. But on the bright...

Well, Did any one else have any luck? It seems that this boost program possibly crashes other games :cry: WOW, WC3 FT, Stronghold... SO I have removed that program and am seeing if it helped or not on CIV4 for sure...

Yes, did the MS memory test and came out fine. I also downloaded a memory tester and RAM booster program. There memory tester ran for 8 hours and said all my memory was good. I played CIV4 1.52 last night for almost 2 hours with the RAM booster and had no crashes :goodjob: . Hope to test it out...

Where do you find memory saver file? My comp does the same thing. I can play for a while then, boom out of nowhere it reboots.

Have 1.52. can play for anywhere from 15 min to 1-1/2 hours with no problem. then all of a sudden i get a restart on my computer. I think I meet the recommended specs or a little higher :confused: Here is my DXDiag right after the reboot.

This card works great with v1.0.0. I unistalled Civ4 with the 1.52 patch and did a reload. Have played for approx 2 hours with no problem or lagging. Only thing is it takes approx 4 min to load a saved game. Not sure if I should install the 1.09 patch. Still on the fence about it.
