Same problem here. Other civ offers a declaration of friendship in their turn and I have to alt+f4 out of it. This was a save from before today's patch.

I had the same issue. I had 1 wine that I traded away (don't ask). Then I took a city with 2 more wine and made it a puppet. However, I continued to have no wine. I tried to pillage+rebuild the plantations, I tried annexing the city, no luck. It was only when my trade deal ended many turns later...

Saying who declared war on who during ww2 is easy, but as to giving reasons and making someone the "aggressor" is a bit dodgy. Germany provoked the English into declaring war and USA in turn provoked Germany into declaring war.

Nope, spontanious out of nowhere desert that ruined a nice coastal city for making battleships. scooblerboy, I guess you need to play more then, huh? :)

I can assure you all that I did not tamper with this game. The desert appeared out of nowhere, with no pollution warning. The funny thing was that it happened again even after I loaded the autosave from the previous turn and moved the ships out on the tile before it turned into desert. Tells me...
