It certainly looks like an interesting game, hopefully makes it to console if it does well( toddler destroyed my PC ) as there finally seems to be an intrest in the genre on console again.

IIRC it may be the limit on online services. I think on Xbox you can only play with 4 or 5 others max for ex in groups or divisions depending on the game. Could be wrong, been a long time since I grouped up with anyone.

Any mention of adding hot seat for the switch version. On a thread at Nintendo life it was mentioned in a post about the upcoming DLCs that hot seat would be added as well.

Any chance of civ 6 being on Xbox one or ps4 ?

I actually preordered the game back in the day, then life happened and no more PC gaming. So after seeing it on the switch is there any hope of it coming to XONE or PS4, or am I still out of luck? Sorry if it's been asked, but I did a quick search and did not see anything recent.

I'm stuck not playing for who knows how long. MIL is living with us after a car accident on mothers day weekend. My spare bedroom with my comp has been taken over by her. No other place to set up comp. Who knows when I will get PC access again.

As it's been ages since I played Civ,( civ 2 ) what are the likely best and worst civs to start with for inexperienced players?

Dumb question Having never had a multiplayer match in any Civ game, how are they handled? For example are they long matches that last for hours on end or do they get broken up into several days?

Least you guys have access to your PC's and other games. I've been without PC access since Mother's Day weekend and playing WOT on console.
