I've built a couple of bombers, but I can't move (fly) them anywhere. I try to move them off of the city where they were built, and all I get is the red circle. I've plenty of oil, I've researched flight and radar.... I can't figure out how in the bloody hell to get them to fly.

Every now and then, playing Civ 4, I'd choose to have no other civs around. I can't seem to do that with Civ 5, as player 2 has no delete button. Is there any way around that?

After applying 1.52 I accessed the Civilopedia and noticed something a bit odd with it. The first three entries, Technologies, Units, and Buildings show normally when clicked on. Starting with Base Terrain, the results are keyed with the next feature down. To illustrate, I click on Base...

After getting the CRC error through a direct download of the patch and then applying, I tried getting it through the game. That works. I did notice that I can't play the game at the full resolution of my ATI card (1440x900) very long before things seem to freeze up, but I think the GPU overheats...

So, when the patch process died halfway through it deleted the .exe file (See previous post). Now I have to de-install, then re-install Civ4 before I can even try to get the patch through the game. Boy, am I having fun now or what? Silverjim
