A few familiar faces, in a vague sense, and a few more names that engender some degree of recognitions. Given that my most active years here were 2001-2003, I would surmise that most of that era's crowd is gone, like tears in virtual rain.

To see such familiar faces around is enough to extend my stay from the usual fleeting one. It must be a function of my dotage.

Curt! Now there’s a name for the ages!

I’ve kind of lost the ability to read at length as I once relished, so have been trying to get through The Eye of the World; over 10 months, I’ve done maybe 200 pages, which I would once do in half an hour.

1975’s Quiller. Good in some ways, cheap in others, but with a very 1970s theme tune.

Kyriakos seems familiar enough; few names do.

I’d recommend against anything that does not deliver a tangible financial result at the end. Formal logic has no truck in an informal and illogical world.
