IMO, there's enough options to boost population growth: religion, social policies and maritime CS.

Pass the World Fair and get the 1st price (you'll need good hammer output), the huge cultural boost you get will be a good counter to their tourism.

I'd like to see new civs with unique gameplay styles, like Venice. It gives a complete twist to the strategy you usually use with another civs. For example, the huns shouldn't be allowed to create new cities besides their capital, and create some mechanic (like the Merchant of Venice) to...

The quick movement option helps. In late game, every turn wait is 30 sec on standard map (i5, 4Gb RAM, Nvidia 540m notebook), with quick movement, only 10 seconds.

Looking at all the new features and mechanics they put in BNW, the game feels complete now, from the ancient to the information era. I think that another expansion with more stuff could add unnecessary complexity. What would be really cool is a new game using the same engine. Something similar...

In general, i like all of the new civs, they are varied enough and with different play choices. If i had to choose my least favourite...probably Poland, their UA doesn't seem to be interesting enough. But my final opinion will be when I play them all.
