Always start building pyramids at 4000 bc. Don't worry if you don't start with masonry. Turn the luxury slider to 80% and science slider to 20%. Your capital should have a entertainer, then wait until masonry is finished. Build the pyramids immediately and make sure to have a citizen work...

Does anyone know why the scientific golden age doesn't work? And if it is possible to fix?

Celts/Persians/Vikings/Greece/Aztecs. I find that Persia, Aztecs and Greece are quite interesting strategically, and Celts/Vikings are just my personal taste.

Civ5 works best as the short version, I think.

I did see a lot more wonders being built , but that just helps me in the long run.(captured sun tzu, great wall, pyramids, templar,colossus,and the celts that are next to me are building some nice wonders that I plan to get from them.)

So, in a game on regent, i was in a war with the iroquis in the industrial ages.(I won the war, and the game after that. Even got a culture victory through war. Was 3 % away from the domination limit, and saw I had 88.000 something culture so I decided to go for the culture victory)But anyways...

Thanks :D I'll read the articles. I tried regent a little and it wasn't too much of a difference yet(still in ancient age, Celts, continents 70% if I remember correctly, standard, got a lone island/continent with france, can see culture borders of byzantine, conquered france :eek:, currently...
