The corners of the playing field curve as well; it looks to fit the entire screen. Disclaimer - I use reading glasses, but the experience of playing Civ 6 on the iPad is, for me, visually equivalent to playing on a laptop/monitor. I was worried about slowdown, but nope. Tom

Playing Civ on a 2018 ipad pro 12.9. Was able to finish a game with a huge map/Pangea, online speed, settler difficulty as Victoria. The game never lagged, although on the very last turn (250) it took a bit for one specific city to open when clicked on. I've also played using the iPad hooked up...
