    Counter to Sheaim Fire Zombies?

Pyre Zombies are terrifyingly effective, and don't appear to fit the Sheaim lorewise (they're suited to a early game rush strategy, instead of the late game armageddon strategy). I don't think it would hurt to nerf them here and boost them later. I was thinking some kind of (expensive)...

What alphabet will the team use for patches after 'z'?

I'd like installing the pumpkin patch. (Seconded?)

Do you think galleys should be improved?

This is a good idea. Is it implementable without UUs for the Lanun? I suppose it could be enabled by a promotion, granted like Sinister/Dextrous...

New feature or Bug? Priest abound

Ritualists used to need reagents instead of incense. Not sure if this has been changed. No idea about the ToM thing though.

Do you think galleys should be improved?

Do people generally like the ship reconfiguration "spells"? I always found them to be unnecessary micro. The naval AI would obviously be improved with their removal.

Elohims should be "Spiritual" rather than the current implementation of "Tolerant"

So...swapping Cassiel's "Adaptive" for "Tolerant" (and vice versa?). I like the Grigori synergy with tolerant - adventurers especially - but I've no idea about the lore (I'll leave that to everyone else). I agree that the Elohim appear to need something interesting that isn't an aggressive...

    Mountain yields

For civ-specific yield adjustments, is this taken into account before or after the adjustments for terrain? (and is there a floor of 0?) If the block were removed, and the Peak values you highlighted were set to -5/-5/-5, would the standard implementation for Khazad +1:hammers: give 0/1/0 or...

    Creation/Force/Dimensional Lore

Yes, but from what I can gather it depends heavily on where you're shoving people. As long as you push them towards where they're "supposed" to be, and not away, then it works. Shoving people out of your borders counts as Balance, in this context.

    Mountain yields

If by 'balance issue' you mean 'something significant that would need to be balanced' instead of 'unbalancing', then I agree with you. Sorry if I misinterpreted you. However, if you DID mean the latter, then you're mathematically wrong (about the sharp threshold). The aim on the yield is to...

    Mountain yields

Let me get this straight. You're saying that either the change will have no impact, or it will be unbalanced and detrimental to the game? The proposed ideas have finely adjustable parameters - there is no sharp threshold between 'terrible'/'overpowered'. Don't delude yourself. Much of what...

    Mountain yields

Firstly, this (and the other proposed civ/yield changes) don't just benefit one civ on one map. Every map contains these terrain types, and it will impact the game. It'll be most noticeable on the mentioned map type, but that's only because the type badly screws over dwarves with a flavour...

Basium- Best way to play the mercurians

Gameplay trumps realism. :p This is a "rubber-band" mechanic - as mentioned before, it's to stop opposing good/evil factions from getting too much of an upper hand. However, I agree that it does provide Basium/Hyborem with an incentive to declare war on Good/Evil civs, which is great in the...

    Mountain yields

@PotatoOverdose: your argument for feature lock only applies to things that require new or modified AI. Adding a simple new unit or wonder would be acceptable because the AI already knows how to use such things well (provided you weight it appropriately). Tile yields are a basic part of the...

    Mountain yields

I don't have a copy of civ/BtS here at uni - if I did, I'd test these changes myself. I've played the mod in an earlier incarnation, but I don't get any immediate reward from suggesting/supporting these ideas. I do it because I feel it will make the game better. I'm fully aware of the need...

    Mountain yields

Ah, I think I misread what you wrote. I thought you said "nowhere does it say the Khazad mine OR work in the mountains", when you probably meant "...the Khazad mine or work in the mountains". They blatantly mine, but maybe not in the mountains. Still, doesn't say they don't :p. They know...
