The Beta versions of RFCE are from the long long ago. RFCE itself is still under steady development, they just pushed a huge update a coupla months ago.

I can't speak for Absinthe, but AFAIK this is a problem with the BtS AI that carried over into RFCE. (It was probably an issue back with vanilla Civ4, but I don't remember.) The AI in BtS just loves to found cities that would be coastal if they were 1W, have gold in the BFC if they were 1N, be...

I'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but capitals have a star around the population number instead of a circle. If you're saying you don't know where their capital actually is (because you haven't found it on the map yet), the locations are all historically accurate, so just look at where...

Is it possible to get rid of the -1 "You declared war on our friend!" from fellow Catholics because I was chosen as crusade leader? I know as far as the game is concerned, I DoW'd Arabia, but it seems unrealistic for Scotland to be upset with me about that.

I think they used to, in the long long ago. I remember when I first started playing RFCE some of the AI would have 1/3 or maybe 2/3 done, but I'm not sure if they were actually striving for the UHV itself- or if it just happened because the way their warmaps were coded meant they kinda stumbled...

Not sure if this the best thread for this, but a question: Now that the AIs don't go for their UHVs any more, is it still necessary to have that column of "0/3"s in the scoreboard?
