Does this ever happen with a ship in port? My best guess is the pathfinder plots the city tile as 'navigable' without recognizing there's a city or garrison.
It may also explain how ships are attacking a land tile when that's supposed to be illegal.
I forget if this was answered in full, but in the original Civ1, rough terrain had a chance to block slower units, similar to trying to enter an off-road tile with partial MP. Civ2 ameliorated this so a unit was guaranteed "full" mobility at the start of its turn. I don't know if anyone ever...
Recently I've swung back into Rise of Nations, and picked up the long-neglected threads of a DYOSmod. I'd originally specced a CTW campaign themed on the Third Nazi War, but I figure it's probably best to start simple and build off that. To wit, I've fleshed out a general replacement roster for...

I originally saw this way back when it débuted and have been meaning to plug it for ages, but real-life complications led to compounding delays. Fortunate, in the long run, as between then and now I finally got around to watching Andor...
My guess is a transport unloaded on an open city. Source: Have abused diplomacy mechanics to make coastal raids before official contact. :mischief:
That's a persistent problem unrelated to TOTPP; the best known fix is to change compatibility settings.
Sorry I'm so late. I'm in the midst (read: several months) of an initial playtest and while I haven't done a "flat stats" analysis yet, based on my observations it looks like a necessity to approach Civ3 metrics. @FoxAhead's Combat Calculator is a godsend for crunching the numbers in a lab...
First off, since I've never properly said so, thank you Blake for taking the time not just to drop the stories but keep us updated on development—for Tempest Rising and the other games. :)
On the one hand, the gameplay I've seen is consolingly familiar, and they seem to have taken the early...
My problem with AI art is that it makes creativity and artistry less accessible to its users. A pencil and a sketchbook will cost you less than £5, and you can start expressing yourself and finding your voice, but all of your growth and learning and understanding comes from the process of trying...
I've been trying to think of a good indexing scheme through the SLeague Wiki but haven't had the time to hone a proper outline. Otherwise, we could pull from Ye Olde Civ3 C&C and sticky a master thread with direct links. It would be great if there was a way to content-tag individual posts for a...
Well it has directly disrupted the receiving context for my next episode soooo... :mischief:
Oh right, USians can use Stripe for Patreon.
In unrelated news, I have an important question concerning the future of my DYOS contributions. This past weekend, Side 7 was made aware that it and several...
